What a hidden gem!!!! I stumbled upon Mary's Diner after not wanting to wait for a table at Llanerch Diner which is right around the corner... Mary's Diner is everything I wanted...small, family-run, no-frills, friendly, delicious food, inexpensive and service like you would not imagine! It has basic breakfast and lunch fare and the cook will basically make whatever you want. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. The diner only seats about about 25 including room at the counter. Saturday mornings are usually the busiest and they are closed on Monday. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Oh and forgot to mention...it is CASH only.

Solid breakfast place. No frills. Unbelievabley nice waitress. I was nervous about bringing my 3 kids (7,5,3yo) but she was kind and helpful - suggesting, "why don't you start with 1 order of large pancakes and see if you need more". My american cheese and ham omelette was good - everything I expected. And the turkey sandwich for my daughter was loaded with fresh oven roasted turkey. Would definitely come back to avoid the crowds of other local establishments and to get a guarenteed good meal.

We had lunch here at this little neighbor spot. First this place needs a good cleaning and much needed remolding. Service was good. I had a turkey club and my wife had a roast beef club. She really wanted corn beef but they were out of it. My club was ok but dry I had to ask for some extra mayo. My wife's club was even dryer and the roast beef was way over cooked.

Ed F. Shhh. Please don't tell anyone else about the best little diner in town. Family run attention to detail. Food exactly how you want it. Coffee as soon as you sit down. Sandwich specials every day. Wait staff that cares and appreciates your business. The place is crawling with Upper Darby's finest and they know what their doing!!

Oh my gosh where to start?! We have been visiting Mary's Diner since back when it was Mary and Andy's and Mary and Andy still had the tiny deli on the front. When Tina and Jim took it over it was absolutely seamless. When our boys were little and doing the sports every Saturday, Mary's was our go-to breakfast/lunch spot. Now that they are juniors in high school, we don't always have the time--but when we do, the first thing they want is always Mary's. It's in our neighborhood and the most comfortable place to relax and chat with Tina and her lovely family. Liz the server is the best server in Upper Darby and I have not even gotten to the food yet! The breakfasts are fabulous! Everything you could possibly want and served quickly. Very affordable. They also have a great sandwich my husband likes. - the corned beef special with turkey. My only issue is that every time we want to go I have to remember to hit the ATM since I normally do debit but that's a small inconvenience for our favorite breakfasts!!

I came to this small diner and pushed 3 tables together to seat my party of 8. They really took care of us at Mary's Diner! We had 5 hungry kiddos in our party and the waitress was extremely patient, friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered so much of it that It would take a long time to name everything. The food will not disappoint you! With delicious food, great prices, and friendly waitresses, you can bet I'll be back to this place!

Best cheese steak of my life, including those I have had in Philly. Small corner deli feeling but with plenty of room to sit and eat. Clean. Friendly. Cheap & delicious. Totally recommend.
